About

The Locksley Group was a natural progression from the Country Cottage Company set up in 2016, realising a dream which had been spoken about since Phil and Hannah met in the Royal Navy. The vision was to create a modern building company that put clients and employees at the centre, and which valued integrity, courtesy, communication and high standards.

Phil is a highly skilled project manager who manages a local, loyal workforce. He will be your contact and sounding board throughout the project. Our employees are a mix of very knowledgeable personnel, from those who have many years’ experience in the building trade to apprentices who have worked their way up. We are members of the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) and consider teaching and offering opportunities to our employees as one of our key principles. We source materials locally if possible and have great relationships with local kitchen and bathroom businesses, but are always looking to be as flexible as possible for our clients and to inspire new ideas.  

Hannah manages the backroom aspects of the business: employees, sourcing materials, accounting and all marketing tasks.

 

Building and renovation are never a one-size-fits-all approach, every client is different and has different priorities. From planning to execution, we are here to support you in making decisions, offering advice if required and working though budgets, ideas and challenges.
